Ways to invest

Pick what fits your income and your goal. We explain each one before you start.

Time is the biggest ingredient

The same ₹5,000 a month, kept going for longer. Most of the growth comes in the later years — that is why starting early and staying consistent matter more than timing.

Common questions

What is the minimum SIP amount?

Many schemes allow SIPs from ₹500 a month (some even lower). The minimum depends on the scheme.

Can I stop or pause my SIP?

Yes. Most SIPs can be paused or stopped at any time, and you can redeem as per the scheme's terms (ELSS has a 3-year lock-in, and some schemes have an exit load).

Are mutual funds safe?

Mutual funds are regulated by SEBI, but their value goes up and down with the market. Returns are not guaranteed. Every scheme shows a riskometer — read it before you invest.

What is the difference between a direct plan and a regular plan?

A direct plan has no distributor commission and a lower expense ratio. A regular plan includes the distributor's service, and the fund house pays the distributor a commission from the expense ratio. See our commission disclosure.

How do I check my KYC or get a statement of all my funds?

Use the official links on our Useful links page — KYC status, and consolidated statements from CAMS, KFintech or MF Central.
